黑料吃瓜网 Giving Day Raises $534,671

The 黑料吃瓜网 community rallied together to show its love for the University and during its third annual 黑料吃瓜网 Giving Day on Friday, February 14. During the 24-hour online fundraising drive, a total of $534,671 was raised from 1,771 donors to support scholarships, research initiatives, athletics and 黑料吃瓜网 Health programs.

Margaret Sullivan, vice president for development and alumni relations, said she is appreciative of the community鈥檚 ongoing support.

鈥淲e are overwhelmed by the continued generosity of our alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends,鈥� Sullivan said. 鈥淭he University and 黑料吃瓜网 Health could not continue to grow and thrive without the support of our dedicated community. We are thrilled by the number of people who chose to give back on our third 黑料吃瓜网 Giving Day.鈥�

More than 10 matching gifts were offered on 黑料吃瓜网 Giving Day, which enabled supporters to automatically double or triple their donation鈥檚 impact. Among these, longtime 黑料吃瓜网 philanthropist Abraham Mitchell offered a two-to-one match toward the Mitchell-Moulton Scholarship Initiative, which supports scholarships for undergraduate students.
