Outage Notifications
Beginning 12/27/24 until 1/21/25 the following buildings will not have heating or cooling due to utility work at Jack Brunson.
- Stokes Hall
- Sigma Chi
- Hancock Whitney Stadium, Press Tower, South Ticket Office and all other associated areas within the stadium
- Athletic Administration Building
- Storm Shelter
- Temporary Grounds
- Transportation Services
- Facilities Stockroom
Road Closure
Beginning Monday, December 16, Jack Brunson Dr. will be closed to traffic due to installation of new underground utilities. Construction should be completed by January 21, 2025. Please refer to the map below for details.
Due to construction of the new Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine, foot traffic is being rerouted around the construction site. Please refer to the map below for the recommended walking path.
Annual Campus-Wide Power Outage

The annual campus-wide power outage for electrical maintenance is scheduled for Friday, December 22, 2023. The outage will be between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Please mark this date on your calendars for scheduling purposes and make any necessary arrangements for your area.
During an electrical outage, lighting, power outlets, air conditioning, heating, phone, and internet will be affected. Computers and other electronic equipment are sensitive to electrical outages. We recommend unplugging this equipment before the outage. Refrigerators and freezers may not have power during this time; special refrigerated items may need to be removed.
